I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and The Spark The Leadership Foundation for
awarding me the Hardship College Scholarship for the 2016-2017
Spring and Fall academic
year. It is truly a great honor to be selected as a recipient of this award. This scholarship will help
me tremendously in reducing my financial burdens.
I am a dance education and business communications major who plans to open a secondary
education fine arts center. I am currently a freshman and plan to graduate in the spring of 2019.
After graduation I will seek employment at a performing arts school, and network to began the
process of starting mine.
Receiving this scholarship motivates me to maintain my GPA, and complete my degree. I look
forward to being able to give back to the community once I begin my career. I thank you again
for investing in my future. I will make sure to do my best in achieving my academic success.
